We’ve reached peak awareness: the problems around us have become too glaring to brush aside. There’s an increasing sense of disillusionment plaguing the youth, yet an equally determined and resolute optimism to make a change. That change starts with ingenuity, creativity, and passion aimed at structures of society. By rejecting the rules and regulations reinforcing stagnancy, we can take the remaining pieces and create something new; something that works for all of us. Subversion is a tool - wielded in hand, heart, and spirit, we can build the future on our own terms.

We took the concept of a magazine and flipped it.

Issue 007 itself questions the structure of a magazine. Although we’re serving this issue up in a glossy print, it’s meant to be a hands-on and tactile experience.
From the top, even with our table of contents, our staff focused on getting back to arts and crafts. The projects shared throughout the magazine use various interpretations of “subversion,” whether the idea is applied through abstract thematic issues or literal, tangible features that physically affect the page.

We shook up the framework of TITLE.

Issue 007 demanded a total integration of each team on TITLE. Each staff member took on a fluid role to make the magazine come to life, and intense collaboration allowed our team to develop their abilities in different disciplines. With an expanded executive team, we brought a more varied structure to TITLE that gets more people involved.
